Just like that, 3:21 after putting up the first points of the game on the board, the Raiders have gone up by two touchdowns. Oakland cashes in again off Ryan Fitzpatrick’s interception capped off by a five-yard touchdown run by Darren McFadden to make it 14-0 Raiders.
Following Oakland’s first touchdown, the Bills’ ensuing drive lasted just three plays and lasted just 54 seconds after Fitzpatrick was picked off by Raiders cornerback Stanford Routt. Five plays later, McFadden got the Raiders into the end zone for the second time in the quarter and all of a sudden the Bills are in trouble trailing by 14.
Without their top three wide receivers, their starting tight end and an early game time start following a short week, the Raiders are the ones playing with high energy and effort and it’s the Bills who look lethargic and asleep at the wheel.
