We are going to take a look at group by group matchup for the Rams against the Giants this week and see if we can see who has the advantage in which area.
Rams Offensive Line v. Giants Defensive Line
The Rams offensive line put in a dreadful performance against the Eagles good defensive line, however, they will have an even more difficult task with the Giants defensive line, even if defensive end Osi Umenyiora is still unable to go. The Giants may have Justin Tuck back to add to an already impressive defensive line. ADV: GIANTS
Rams Running Backs v. Giants Linebackers
The Giants have already lost two linebackers for the year to injury, but the Rams will probably be without starting running back Steven Jackson. Cadillac Williams has shown himself to be a more than adequate fill in for Jackson. EVEN
Rams Tight Ends v. Giants Linebackers
The Giants have already lost two linebackers for the year to injury and their depth with be tested Monday night as the Rams will have Mike Hoomanawanui returning to the team. Lance Kendricks will also never play as bad of a game as he did against the Eagles. ADV: RAMS
Rams Wide Receivers v. Giants Secondary
The Giants secondary is also beat up in the secondary as they have already lost 3 players to season ending injuries and their first round pick Prince Amukamara just started light jogging and should be out injured until at least October. The Rams will be without reliable Danny Amendola, but with a better matchup against New York, the Rams receivers should have better games. EVER SO SLIGHT ADV: RAMS
