We are going to take a look at group by group matchup for the Rams against the Giants this week and see if we can see who has the advantage in which area.
Giants Offensive Line v. Rams Defensive Line
We will see a much improved offensive line compared to the lineup that the Eagles ran out on to the field. However, I think the advantage still stays with the Rams, even away from home. ADV: RAMS
Giants Running Backs v. Rams Linebackers
The Giants will show off their two-headed monster of Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs as the Lightning and Thunder combination. Bradshaw can really hurt the Rams cutting back against the grain and the Rams will have to keep Jacobs from getting a head of steam otherwise he will run through the Rams tacklers. SLIGHT ADV: GIANTS
Giants Tight Ends v. Rams Linebackers
The Giants have three tight ends I have never heard of, including a guy named Bear. The Rams linebackers have improved their play against the pass significantly this offseason. ADV: RAMS
Giants Wide Receivers v. Rams Secondary
The Rams secondary is beset with injuries, but Bradley Fletcher looks on target to play. He will match up with Hakeem Nicks, who also looks likely to play. However, that leaves someone to cover the tall Mario Manningham for the Rams. The Rams will have a lot of worries about the 2nd, 3rd and 4th WRs and how to cover them this week and going forward.
