E.J. Henderson Missed 2nd Straight Practice

E.J. Henderson sat out practice Thursday and Friday, and now his status for Sundays game is in doubt. Frazier stated that Henderson woke up with swelling in his knee on Thursday and ended up having an x-ray done but it came back negative, showing no structural damage according to Tom Pelissero of ESPN1500.com.

Not a good sign that Henderson sat out practice for a 2nd day straight when back-up MLB Jasper Brinkley is on IR for the season. If Henderson can’t go on Sunday, than the Vikings will either start Xavier Adibi at MLB or shift over Erin Henderson and start Kenny Onatolu at WLB.

UPDATE: Frazier stated after practice today that E.J. will be a game time decision but is hopeful he will play. E.J. believes he will play and told Frazier that he will. Keep an eye on the injury report come game time on Sunday.
