With Jonathan Babineaux expected to miss three to five weeks, Aaron Wilson of Scout.com reports the Falcons worked out former Panthers defensive tackles Derek Landri and Nick Hayden, according to an NFL source with wisdom of the matter.
Landri was released by the Eagles during final roster cuts.
Landri, 27, is a 6-foot-2, 290-pound Notre Dame product who was selected in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He started every game in Carolina last season and registered 43 stops and three sacks.
Hayden, 25, is a former Panthers sixth-round draft choice from Wisconsin.
Hayden has 51 tackles and two sacks in three NFL seasons, all with Carolina.
