DE Mike Wright’s Future In Doubt After Another Concussion?

The worst news on today’s injury report is that Mike Wright missed practice because of a concussion. The defensive lineman, who has become a well-respected and versatile performer in his six-plus years with New England, was knocked out of the Pats’ game against Indianapolis last November with a concussion and did not play another snap for the season.

He left the game Monday night in Miami but there was no press box announcement stating what was keeping him off the field. Given how long he struggled with post-concussion symptoms last year, this is not a good sign, and now there has to be concern about Wright’s long-term health and career.
