Cowboys WR Dez Bryant misses practice Wednesday

Cowboys mega-talented wide receiver Dez Bryant wasn’t suited up for practice Wednesday at Cowboys Stadium and was riding a stationary bike in the tunnel as his teammates stretched on the field according to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News.

The uber-skilled Oklahoma State alum injured his quad on a punt return in the first half Sunday against the Jets.  Yet, Dez missed Wednesday’s practice session due to a bruised thigh.

Witten effect: If Dez is unable to play on the road against the 49ers in Week two, realistically, tight end Jason Witten could catch 15 passes from Tony Romo on Sunday.  Most assuredly, Witten will be the main beneficiary if Bryant is on the sidelines in the Golden Gate city.
