The Bills have re-signed veteran cornerback Reggie Corner, and placed rookie linebacker Robert Eddins was placed on injured reserve to make room on the 53-man roster.
A fourth-round pick out of Akron by the Bills in 2008, Corner totaled 114 tackles, one quarterback sack and 18 passes defensed in 44 games, including 12 starts. Through playing-time incentives, Corner increased his 2011 base salary from $555,000 to $1.2 million, but he was released as part of their roster cuts on September 3.
Prior to signing Corner, the Bills tried out defensive backs Brandon Bing, Tony Carter and Terrence Wheatley on Tuesday. Wheatley was signed to the team’s practice squad.
