Center Dan Koppen Breaks Ankle; Could Be Back Though This Year

Center Dan Koppen broke his ankle during the second quarter of last night’s 38-24 win against the Dolphins, according to Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald. There is no timetable for his recovery, but the possibility exists Koppen could return this season.

A Dolphins player slammed into Koppen’s left leg, bending it awkwardly. When guard Logan Mankins saw him down, Mankins smacked his hands in frustration. Koppen then was carted off.
