Buccaneers wide receiver and kick returner Sammie Stroughter will miss a few weeks with a foot injury, The Tampa Tribune reports.
Stroughter is likely to undergo surgery, possibly as soon as Tuesday morning.
The third-year pass catcher from Oregon State has received 55 passes for 573 yards and a touchdown in 25 games over his first two pro seasons, while averaging nearly 29 yards via kick return.
The former Beaver seventh-round pick took the opening kick against the Lions 78 yards, putting the Bucs in range for a 38-yard field goal by Connor Barth. Preston Parker, an undrafted free agent out of North Alabama, replaced Stroughter, hauling in four passes for 44 yards.
