Houston Dominates Indianapolis 34-7 to Start Season 1-0

When the injury report came out early Sunday and it stated that last year’s NFL leading rusher Arian Foster wouldn’t play – there were plenty of “gulps” from Texans fans.

By about 3:45 Sunday, not having Foster was the furthest thing from the Texans mind, this after they dominated their biggest AFC South rival, crushing the Colts 34-7 at Reliant Stadium.

The blowout was quick and decisive, as the Texans put up 17 points in each of the first two quarters to put the game away at halftime.

Matt Schaub was 17-for-24 for 220 yards with a touchdown to Andre Johnson. Ben Tate, playing for Foster, ran for 116 yards on 24 carries and a score.
