Seattle Seahawks Sign Defensive Tackle Anthony Hargrove

Beast Mode is probably going to be his shots in.

The Seahawks have picked up defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove, a transaction that seems fitting given Carroll’s itchy trigger and the fact the regular season starts for the Seahawks in 24 hours.

Another former Saint is coming in to presumably fill the void left by Jimmy Wilkerson after he suffered a season ending injury.

He has 25 starts in his career, and has had two seasons with 5 or more sacks when he was actually given playing time. It seems this guy may have the Chris Clemons syndrome; posting solid averages when he does get to play but never got to play enough, at least until he came to Seattle. 6.5 sacks for a second year defensive tackle (back in 2005), shows an ability to rush the passer, he also notched 51 tackles as well. When he got 6 starts in 2009, he finished with 42 tackles and 5 sacks.
