According to Aaron Wilson, Carrol County Times, “The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms on a rookie free agent deal with former University of North Carolina defensive end Michael McAdoo after he went undrafted in today’s NFL supplemental draft.”
The NCAA “declared McAdoo permanently ineligible for academic misconduct. McAdoo filed a lawsuit in July against the NCAA and the school, though a judge denied his request to be reinstated for his senior season with the Tar Heels.”
The NFL ruled McAdoo eligible for the supplemental draft.
McAdoo is an intriguing prospect for the Ravens. He will be more of a developmental player than a player who gets on the field immediately. The defensive end is listed at 6’6, 248 pounds. He may have to put on weight depending on where he lines up on the field. While at North Carolina McAdoo showed “incredible pass rush ability.” Because of the suspension his college career was cut short.
