Lee Evans hasn’t had an opportunity to receive from a quarterback with a great deep arm, until now.
The Baltimore Ravens have traded a fourth-round pick to the Buffalo Bills for wideout Lee Evans (per Adam Schefter, ESPN). This will bolster a receiving corps that picked up one of the three best deep threats available in this year’s draft, Torrey Smith (the others being AJ Green and Cecil Shorts).
After receiving much criticism from Ravens players, Harbaugh had announced during the off-season that major changes would happen to the offense. During their first preseason game in Philly, we saw a little of that with more trips near the line.
Lee is 10th among active players with 15.7 yards per reception, and has 43 touchdowns in seven seasons in Buffalo despite receiving from six different quarterbacks (Bledsoe, Holcomb, Losman, Edwards, Fitzpatrick, Brohm) and never being on a playoff team.
