Oakland Comes to Terms with WR Chad Jackson

Free agent wide receiver Chad Jackson has agreed to terms with the Raiders, Jackson’s agent, David Canter, announced on Twitter. Terms were not disclosed. The New England Patriots traded their own second-round pick (52nd overall, which was used on wide receiver Greg Jennings) and a third-round pick (75th overall, center Jason Spitz) to the Green Bay Packers to move up to the 36th slot to select the former University of Florida standout.

Hamstring and groin injuries plagued Jackson for much of his rookie season, where he was limited to just 13 receptions for 152 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. Jackson tore an ACL in the AFC Championship Game, which kept him out for much of the 2007 season, well.
