49ers RB Gore Ends Holdout

Two-Time Pro Bowl RB

San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore appeared at team headquarters early Monday morning, finishing a training camp holdout.

A team official verified that the former Hurricane runner was in the building and prepared for a day of meetings and a physical.

While a new contract extension is still missing, the 49ers do plan to negotiate with their franchise back.

Gore is in the final year of a contract that will issue him $2.9 million in base salary and a $2 million roster bonus.

Last year, he suffered a season-ending hairline fracture in his right hip against Arizona in Week 12.

In six seasons with the Niners, Gore boasts an impressive career average of 4.7 yards per carry.

Other news: Former Bengals and Vikings safety Madieu Williams agreed to a one-year deal with the 49ers, according to a league source.
