Breaking news: Former Packers defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins signed a five-year, $25 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.  In 2011, although playing on 11 games due to injuries, Jenkins finished No. 2 on the team with a career-high 7 sacks. As an undrafted free agent, Jenkins played seven years.  During his Packers career, he got 271 tackles and 29 sacks. Although the Packers did not want to pay his price, he will be missed being an impact player on the defensive line.

COMMENTARY: We are not pleased to see a week of solid Super Bowl Packers veterans going to the other competitors in the NFL. GM Ted Thompson is right to say, “We understand fans feeling a little bit nervous about the way things are going. It can be unsettling. Hang with us.”
