Source: Jaguars Agree To Terms With Blaine Gabbert

The Heir Apparent To David Garrard

Rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert has signed a four-year rookie contract with a fifth-year option, according to the Florida Times-Union.

Gabbert receives $12 million guaranteed in the deal.

The tenth overall pick missed the morning practice, but walked out in uniform a few minutes after the Thursday evening practice began and elicited cheers from spectators viewing the practice.

The former Missouri signal caller is not expected to receive significant playing time under center this season, if at all, for the Jags.
