Source: Cowboys Sign First Round Pick Tyron Smith

Ninth Overall Selection From USC

The Dallas Cowboys have inked Southern California offensive tackle Tyron Smith, who they drafted ninth overall last April, to a four-year deal, according to a source.

Smith is slated to start at right tackle, replacing Marc Colombo, who Dallas is set to release.

NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora reports Tyron will receive $12.5 million, all of which will be guaranteed cash.
