Mankins, Jackson Deciding To Report On Time For Training Camp

Pair Of Pro Bowl Caliber Players Avoiding Holdouts

Last season’s drama will not happen again.

Learning from last year’s dreaded experience, New England Patriots offensive guard Logan Mankins and San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson are going to be in camp starting Day one.

Not looking to miss any games this season, both Mankins and Jackson are reported to sign franchise tenders on Friday.

Both players, valuable to their respective clubs, have their eyes and sights set on banking home a long-term deal in the near future.

With the correct call to sign tenders, it looks like more and more of a possibility for Mankins and Jackson to ink big contract extensions.  If this occurs, you can bet it will serve as a notice throughout the league, that if you negotiate properly with team management, your future lengthy deal secured with big cash will come into fruition a lot sooner rather than later.
