NFLPA Schedules Conference Call as Owners Schedule Vote for Today

ESPN’s John Clayton reports that the owners have scheduled a vote on the new collective bargaining agreement between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET.

NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith has scheduled a conference call with the 32 player representatives, which they were told to be prepared for when they departed NFLPA headquarters on Wednesday.

Albert Breer of the NFL Network reporting that it’s scheduled for 8 p.m. ET tonight.

The time of the NFLPA conference call gives the two sides to work out any remaining issues, and apparently know the result of the owner’s vote.
