Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora is one of the plaintiffs in the Tom Brady antitrust suit against the NFL. Although he has the power to block the settlement of the deal he isn’t.
“He assumes they’ll throw some cash at him or something,” a source told Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. “But do you really think he’s not going to sign off on a deal? No.”
He wants GM Jerry Reese to fulfill the “promise” to rip up the remainder of the six-year, $41 million contract extension he signed in December of 2005 and pay him like one of the top five defensive ends in the league or trade him to a team that will. The source said Umenyiora is more likely to consider a training-camp holdout.
Osi is good, but he is not even close to as good as he thinks he is…..http://yodabillclintonwillferrellmarkzuckerbergmichaeljordan.com/2011/07/20/top-nfl-wide-receivers-top-20-graded/
