Ahmad Bradshaw will be a free agent whenever the CBA mess is fixed. While it’s been assumed that he’s going to try to re-sign with Giants, he may have other ideas. According to Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, Bradshaw is training in Miami, and interested in signing with the Dolphins:
Rosenhaus said on 7SportsXtra that client Ahmad Bradshaw is training in Miami and interested in signing with the #Dolphins
Bradshaw is a fit with the Dolphins. They drafted Daniel Thomas out of Kansas State, but he’s more a between the tackles guy. Bradshaw, as we know, can get out and turn the corner, and is dangerous in space.
If the Giants were to lose Bradshaw, it’s a huge loss. He’s such a dynamic runner. We all know what he can do.
That would leave the Giants with Brandon Jacobs and Da’Rel Scott (and DJ Ware, if he re-signs). Some free agent targets: DeAngelo Williams, Ronnie Brown, Michael Bush, Joseph Addai, Darren Sproles and Cedric Benson. There are some other backs, but those are the cream of the crop. Could also look at Julius Jones, Jerious Norwood, and Cadillac Williams.
