Brett Favre’s Family Says the QB is Not Coming Back

Last week former Cowboys official Gil Brandt raised eyebrows when he said during an chat that Brett Favre might consider returning for 21st season. Fans and media were prepared for another “Favre watch.”

But Al Jones from the Biloxi Sun Herald spoke with Favre’s agent Cook, who simply laughed at that report and didn’t make a comment. Favre’s brother, Scott, did the same.

“I would say there’s less than a 1 percent chance (he would return),” Scott Favre said. “He is retired.”

Even Brett’s mother, Bonita Favre, scoffed at the thought. “I would hope he would not do it,” she said. “He is crazy if he does.”

So for those that were thinking it would be another summer of leads on ESPN of shots of Favre throwing footballs to high school kids and being asked non-stop if he’s coming back – it looks like you can rest easy.
