throws out District Court order lifting NFL lockout.
Back to Square One: Yesterday, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis issued their ruling siding with the NFL and throwing out U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson’s April ruling that the lockout was illegal. NFL Players Association chief DeMaurice Smith left the talks in Manhattan on Friday evening and said negotiators will not meet again until Monday. Lawyers will continue to work through the weekend, sources tell ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
