NFL owners will meet in Chicago Tuesday, and perhaps into Wednesday, to discuss the status of negotiations with the players for a new collective bargaining agreement. NFL teams were advised last week to be prepared an extra day.
NFL owners and players have met over the the past three weeks and reportedly there is enough optimism to believe that progress is being made toward a new CBA.
There were reports that there are a few owners who may not be satisfied with the deal that might be presented at the owners meetings. Of course, it would only take nine owners to strike down any proposal that might be presented.
