The short answer is Yes.
The last three drafts Baltimore has made a trade of some type and history most likely could repeat itself once again. Especially if a team wants to throw picks at the Ravens to land a Quarterback, much like Denver did to get Tim Tebow last year.
Like most teams the Ravens has several needs to fill and I think if Jimmy Smith is off the board when pick #26 comes around tonight they will try and move out of that spot to get a pass rusher and a vertical threat.
But that is the great thing about draft night and probably why I’m so against Mock drafts or at least the saturation of these invading our every waking moment. Teams will surprise with an early pick and that may shake the whole draft in a different direction.
I can remember sitting in front of my television last year thinking that Dez Bryant was going to be a Raven. It was improbable due to all the projections but not impossible because there he was still on the board. Then of course Jerry Jones swooped in and the rest is history.
You never can tell what will happen and there are several curve balls that can be thrown throughout the next few days.
