Three Teams With Interest in Eagles Backup QB Kevin Kolb

ESPN‘s Adam Schefter is reporting that “at least” three NFL teams are interested in making a trade for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb. The Cardinals, Seahawks, and 49ers are the confirmed parties looking to strike a deal.

The Titans and Redskins are also in the mix. The Eagles decision to up Kolb’s price tag to a late first-round draft pick hasn’t scared anyone away. With the wealth of teams coveting the 25-year-old, it’s likely Philadelphia could end up with a top-10 pick in exchange for Kolb if the competition drives up his value enough.

  1. Chris Bach says:

I see a domino effect if the Seahawks trade for Kevin Kolb, not much different than when the Tannenbaum/Mangini Jets got Brett Favre. Matt Hasselbeck would likely be gone, just a few months after the performance of his career, or there’s a slight chance they let Hasselbeck play one more year and Whitehurst is sent packing. Kolb’s ready to start right now.

Whatever happens, the Seahawks wouldn’t keep all three and would want something in return if they get rid of one of the ones under contract.
