T.J. Yates the Top Prospect to Watch at Texas vs. the Nation Today

31 NFL draft picks played at the Texas vs. The Nation game  last year.  Texas vs. The Nation is the game put on by the NFLPA and, this year, features Jim Bates coaching Texas and Jerry Glanville coaching the Nation.

Packers GM Ted Thompson, scouting director John Dorsey and assistant college scouting director Shaun Herock spent a lot of time evaluating Sam Shields at last year’s Texas vs. the Nation game.

Here’s a run-down of all the evaluations that have taken place by writers in the media.

Alex Brown of The3-4.com became ill and had to leave, but does have some articles covering the practices in San Antonio, along with other draft articles.

Chad Reuter has written about his impressions of the practices, and the newest one is up.

Sporting News’ Russ Lande has his evaluations up. Here is the newest.

Check out an interview with FIU CB prospect Anthony Gaitor.

Former North Carolina QB TJ Yates is someone I’m familiar with as a Florida State fan. He has good pocket presence but throws great on the run as well. Here’s a video of his senior highlights.

Actually, I was covering the NFLPA game, I do most of the NFL Draft coverage for The3-4.

Alex Jenny is our business mastermind. He created the site, recruited the writers, and organized out entire strategy. He is an expert NFL mind, Dartmouth grad, and brilliant kid.
