Houston Texans owner Bob McNair lended his comments on the expiring collective bargaining agreement and the state of the NFL after Tuesday’s league meeting.
“Our commissioner wants to get (a deal) done. I think we’re being very reasonable. Hopefully the union will be, too, and we’ll be successful.”
McNair surely is looking to avoid a lockout. His team’s as young as its going to get, and with talent like Andre Johnson and Arian Foster sitting out a year, he’d be crazy not to lobby to avoid a lockout. To explain McNair’s optimisim, he said: “No. I really can’t (explain it).”
