RaidersGab Editor Nirpal Sihota Picks Wild Card Weekend

Thank you gambling gods, though, to keep my interest.  Let’s preview this weekends games from a Raiders perspective…

New Orleans (-10.5) @ Seattle Seahawks (O/U 45.5)

Wait, Seattle made playoffs?  We boat-raced 33-3, they only had a 7-9 record, and they get a home game against the defending champions.  What the $#^&%$*&^)(&_ !!!!!

They do have the home-advantage, which will be a big advantage for them, and the Saints are without what seems to be their entire RB group.  Saints win this game, though, because the Seahawks offense is putrid.

Saints 27 Seahawks 13

NY Jets (+3) @ Indianapolis Colts (O/U 44.5)

We were the 2nd best running team in the league, yet when the 25 worst rushing team can into town, but we only could only run 80 yards on them?  Come on, how did we not keep Peyton off of the field by controlling the ball?

Rex, you want to get over the hump and beat Peyton and the Colts?  Give them a heavy dose of Shonn Greene and LT.  Peyton still wins this game, he is a one man gang.

Colts 20 Jets 16

Baltimore Ravens (-2.5) @ KC Chiefs (O/U 41)

We beat them twice this year and you want to know how Ravens?  Shut down their run game and watch Matt Cassell shrivel.  He is not good and the playoff pressure will get to him (and Charlie Weis’ departure to Florida).

The Ravens run D hasn’t allowed 116 yards rushing since week 11 (the Chiefs magic number in their 6 loses).  Watch Ray Ray have fun this Sunday.

Ravens 27 Chiefs 10

Green Bay Packers (+2.5) @ Philadelphia Eagles (O/U 46.5)

We have no involvement in this game except the complete and utter hope that Al makes Michael Vick a Raider next year.  This game will come down to which one of the 2 coaches doesn’t mess up the time management the worst.  And Andy Reid lost last year to JaMarcus Fumble, so that’s another strike.

Packers 24 Eagles 20
