Vikings-Eagles Sunday Night Game Postponed Till Tuesday

There will be no Sunday Night Football tonight on NBC, as the league has officially called tonight’s Minnesota Vikings-Philadelphia Eagles game scheduled for outdoors in Philly, where snow has put the game in an official holding pattern.

The game that was set for 8:30 p.m. ET, and has been moved to Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. ET. The game will remain on NBC.

Snow is expected to be heavy in the Philadelphia area from 1:00 p.m. ET Sunday though early Monday morning. By moving the game to Tuesday evening, that will make it much easier for snow removal to take place.

However, that won’t give the Eagles much time to prepare for next Sunday’s home finale against the division rival Dallas Cowboys.

  1. Tony says:

You mean: by moving the game to Tuesday evening, NBC gets to broadcast the game nationally, instead of just to the Philadelphia and Minnesota TV markets.

It’s all about the money and never about the fan.

    • Matt says:

Tony, It’s a national broadcast no matter when it is. Check your info before you make a statement like that.

  2. Matt Loede says:

That’s the word we have gotten, NBC, since they had the game will keep the rights to the game. Fun TV for an otherwise boring Tuesday night
