Jets Get Good News on the Throwing Shoulder of Mark Sanchez

The Jets got some good news today on the throwing shoulder of QB Mark Sanchez. Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that an MRI done on Sanchez’s sore throwing shoulder revealed no major issues. The MRI was done as a precautionary measure and head coach Rex Ryan says that Sanchez will play Sunday against the Bears.

Sanchez hurt his shoulder Sunday in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. He played well enough to help the team pull out a huge 22-17 win.

More than likely Sanchez may sit out a practice or will be limited. “Any time it’s your quarterback, you’re going to make sure he’s OK,” Ryan said. “The MRI showed it was a positive thing for us. He’ll be ready to play on Sunday. Will it limit him? I don’t know.”

Sanchez is in the last 5 or 10 NFL quaterback ratings – how is this good news for the Jets?

Another lucky play, a first play punt returned for a TD, the “Troy-less” Steelers, and the Jets fake another “win”…

This is the worse team in the NFL, going to the play-offs… What a joke.

  2. Chris Bach says:

They are unlikely to be either the worst team in the NFL nor the worst team to make the playoffs this season, in my opinion. They will finish at worst 2 games ahead of whoever comes out of the NFC West.

After they beat Chicago, they will have beaten all three division winners they met. That seems pretty good to me.

Peter – With all due respect, your comments are pretty dumb. You seem to have some pent up anger towards the Jets for some reason. As Chris said, the Jets will be better than any team from the NFC West. They are also better than the Chiefs who lead the AFC West, and the Colts/Jags. They are also one of only two teams to beat the Pats this year. And outside of the Chargers, there won’t be any team outside of the playoffs better than them.

And if you saw the Pittsburgh game then you know the refs messed up twice during one of the Steelers drives and awarded them 2 first downs when they were clearly a yard short each time. They ended up scoring a TD on that drive. The game shouldn’t have even been as close as it was.
