Bronco Fans Calling to See What Former Florida QB Tebow Can Do

Bronco fans are more irate than ever today, as the team was crushed by the not so good Arizona Cardinals 43-13. It starts and ends it seems these days with QB Kyle Orton, who had his worse game as a Bronco. The fans spent Monday calling for Orton’s head, and to see what #1 draft pick Tim Tebow can do.

Not so fast though, as acting head coach Eric Studesville says that for now – all positions on the team are up for grabs.

“We’re going to look at everything,” Studesville said. “I want to look at this and talk with the coaches and make sure what we’re doing is best for us as a football team and where we’re going.”

Orton had been having a monster season at the QB spot for the Broncos, but the last two weeks have seen him go downhill in a hurry.

The last two games against the Chiefs and Cards have been awful for Orton, which is why the fans want to see what the former Florida QB can do.

“Kyle Orton’s our quarterback,” Broncos right guard and captain Chris Kuper said. “He’s had a good year. We want to continue to fight for him. I don’t know why it’s even brought up.”

Kuper needs to watch the tape again, then maybe he, like the fans, will be calling for Tebow as well.

for goodness sakes just put tebow in. the season is pretty much in the toilet, so why not? they have nothing to lose by putting him in for at least half of the game. if the owner or coahes really cared about what the fans think then they will put him in, i think he could only help the team win.. that is their only chance at salvaging the rest of the season with some dignity

You guys are ridiculous. How are you going to throw your quarterback — who has been one of the finer quarterbacks in the league this season — under a bus and assume it’s all his fault? Right, because their lack of running game isn’t the problem, nor is their ability to defend. You have so many issues, yet people who glorified Tebow in college feel that the dude needs to take over the starting spot as soon as Orton starts having slight slumps. (This includes you.)

The season may be in the toilet, but why ruin the psyche of a top-10 QB just so you can satisfy the NFL-nation’s wishes and see if Tebow will pan out in this league. If the coach is smart, he’ll try not to listen to fans and observers (like you) and keep Orton as the starter.
