Headed into the locker room, the Seahawks trail the 49ers in San Francisco, 30-7.
The 49ers (4-8) jumped on the scoreboard first with 42-yard touchdown pass from Alex Smith to tight end Vernon Davis less than two-and-a-half minutes into the game.
Seattle (6-6) answered back with an 11-yard touchdown reception by wide receiver Ruvell Martin with 4:19 remaining in the first period.
After closing the book on the first quarter with a 33-yard Jeff Reed field goal, the 49ers capitalized on four second-quarter Seahawks turnovers. On successive drives, San Francisco would put up a combined 20 points to extend its lead.
Seattle quaterback Matt Hasselbeck has two interceptions, a fumble lost and an incompletion on a fourth down.
In his first start since Week Seven, San Francisco’s Alex Smith completed 13 of 20 passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns.
