Seems More and More Like Fisher May Be Gone from Tennessee in 2011

Despite coming back to make a game of it Thursday, the Titans were losers at home to the Colts, and it is sounding more and more like Bud Adams is seriously thinking about making a change at the coaching spot at the end of the year.

On Friday Adams said he would take a long look at Jeff Fisher before making a decision about the coach’s future with the franchise according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. Fisher, in his 16th full season as head coach, is under contract through 2011.

“I am not too happy right now, I’ll tell you that,” Adams said. “But I think it is too early to talk about it. We have three more games to go and I’ll be able to talk a lot better after those three games.”

“We’ll go up to the end of the season and then I’ll make my decision. I am not very pleased with what has happened here, though. It’s not what I had in mind.”

Adams said he would take a number of things into consideration, including injuries, particularly at quarterback. Vince Young is on injured reserve and Kerry Collins missed two games. Of course the relationship between Young and Fisher has been the source of a lot of talk lately, and Adams has already made overtures that Young is going to be back in 2011, meaning Fisher may not.
