The Rams could be facing the grim reality of lining up against the New Orleans Saints and their deep array of pass catchers without their best cover corner in Ron Bartell. Bartell has a stinger in the shoulder and neck area and is “doubtful” to play on the Rams official injury. Bartell has been known to tough it out through injuries, but he has not practiced all week.
Either way, the Rams will have trouble dealing with the Saints offense even if they have Ron Bartell on the field. Depth corner Justin King also missed practice, but rookie corner Jerome Murphy returned to practice. We may be forced to see a lot of Darian Stewart, Craig Dahl and OJ Atogwe in coverage.
