Broncos coach McDaniels says team not focused on off field drama

Despite being hit with a $50,000 fine for what looked like another “Spygate,” Josh McDaniels says that his 3-8 Broncos are focused on one thing – the Chiefs this Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.

“I’m just going to control what I control and focus on the Chiefs,” McDaniels said in remarks distributed by the team. “I have a normal routine with Mr. Bowlen. We see each other every day. He’s here every day. We talk about practice, our opponent. He’s usually out at practice. I’m just going to continue doing my job and our relationship hasn’t changed. We talked the other day, we talked today. I’m going to focus on the Chiefs.”

McDaniels was fined $50,000 for failing to immediately report that since fired video director Steve Scarnecchia illegally taped the San Francisco 49ers’ walkthrough in London.
