Favre magic as Vikings rally late for 27-24 OT win over the Cardinals

After a late fourth quarter rally, the Vikings had to begin overtime by kicking off to Laron Stephens-Howling.  Thankfully, Heath Farwell was able to bring him down somewhat quickly.

On first down a wild pass to Larry Fitzgerald was a scary moment for Arizona.  On second down, more good pressure ended in great closing speed for Chad Greenway on the sack.  Jared Allen, suddenly playing out of his mind, was able to sack Anderson again, ending their first drive in overtime.

The offense took over at their own 30.  One handoff to Peterson took it 31 yards after nice blocking from Loadholt.  A holding call on Herrera after another nice run resulted in a five yard loss.  A quick slant to Berrian picked up 16 yards and a first down, putting the Vikings inside field goal range.

On first down, Peterson carried the ball for two yards.  On second down, Peterson carried for two more yards.  Third down was another Peterson carry, this time for about five yards.

Ryan Longwell kicked the game winning field goal from the 17 yard line and the Vikings advanced to 3-5 in a nail-biter.
