Will Carson Palmer’s hip keep him out of Sunday’s game vs Miami?

One has to wonder if the injury to quarterback Carson Palmer is worse than the team is letting one. Palmer didn’t practice on Thursday due to a sore hip. Right now coach Marvin Lewis says that the hip won’t keep Palmer from playing, but Lewis has been known to be wrong about this stuff in the past.

Lewis told everyone last week that cornerback Jonathan Joseph would likely play but he ended up being listed as inactive. If the 2-4 Bengals are without Carson Palmer, the ball will be handed to his younger brother, Jordan, who has never started an NFL game and hasn’t thrown a pass in one since 2008.
