In a half dominated by incomplete passes and turnovers, the Seattle Seahawks led 10-0 as they headed into the locker room.
After downing the defending Super Bowl champion in his last game, undrafted free agent quarterback Max Hall completed just four of 15 pass attempts for 36 yards and an interception.
Seattle’s Matt Hasselbeck completed eight of his 16 attempts for 56 yards and a two-yard touchdown to wide receiver Mike Williams. While Hasselbeck doesn’t have an interception, he did lose a fumble in the first quarter.
The Seahawks’ quarterback wasn’t the only one to cough up the football in the first 30 minutes of play at Qwest Field. Arizona running back Tim Hightower also lost possession and his teammate, rookie Andre Roberts, muffed a punt that Seattle recovered at the Cardinals’ 18-yard line and converted into the Matt Hasselbeck-to-Mike Williams touchdown with 5:50 to go before halftime.
