Colts TE Clark done for the season

Is “Dallas” still within reach for the Colts, without Dallas?

Indianapolis Colts TE Dallas Clark has been placed on the IR and will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Clark visited with three surgeons before making the final decision official:

“It’s unfortunate, but it’s been confirmed that surgery is necessary to repair the injury to my wrist,” Clark said in a statement released by the team. “I look forward to supporting my teammates the rest of this season and rehabilitating my wrist back to full strength for next season.”

Clark’s season-ending wrist surgery is just one of many injuries the Colts have been hit with recently.  With one of his favorite targets out, Peyton will now have to turn to rookie 5th round pick from Oklahoma, Brody Eldridge, to replace the invaluable Clark.  Manning’s repertoire is disintegrating as we speak.
