Tim Tebow’s first regular season NFL touchdown

It happened.  Following a Kyle Orton 27-yard connection with Jabar Gaffney on 3rd & 8 from the Jets 32; the Broncos decided it was Tebow time.

The Broncos set up shop, 1st & Goal from the New York 5.  Enter Tebow.

The former Heisman Trophy and two-time National Championship winner seized the moment.

The Florida Gator, arguably the best player in College Football history, took the snap in Wildcat formation.

Then what he did with it was similar to what he did on Saturdays the past four years in Gainesville.

“The Swamp”, no, Satuday, no, better yet, it was Invesco Field, at Mile High, on Sunday.  1st & Goal from the 5, he takes the ball and runs it right.  Right into the end zone for six.

His first career regular season NFL touchdown.  Congrats.  Enjoy this moment.  Cherish it.  Relish it.  But don’t think it will he one of only a few, or his only trip to pay dirt.  He will visit the “Promised Land” again.  Matter of fact, he will return this season.

Somewhere Urban Meyer is crying; tears of joy, that is.  His first career NFL touchdown in the regular season.  A time to celebrate.  He must be feeling a “mile high”.  This kid is special; it has made my Sunday that much better.

Thank you Tim,

Your biggest fan,

Russ Loede

P.S. “TebowMania” is going to make it big in the pros.  I believe in you brother.
