Analyzing the remainder of the Rams schedule

Sam has a subpar season so far according to his standards

Forecast for the rest of the Rams season: Cloudy and scattered, calling for a downpour of losses, with a few chances of wins

What do we know about the Rams so far? They have trouble winning away from home. Good defensive lines can tank their offense. And the more we learn about this Rams squad, the less we know. With that lack of knowledge in mind – let’s prognosticate the rest of the season.

Sun 9/12 Arizona Cardinals (0-0) L 13 – 17
Sun 9/19 Oakland Raiders (0-1) L 14 – 16
Sun 9/26 Washington Redskins (1-1) W 30 – 16
Sun 10/3 Seattle Seahawks (2-1) W 20 – 3
Sun 10/10 Detroit Lions (0-4) L 6 – 44

Sun 10/17 San Diego Chargers HOME 1:00 pm

The Chargers are the best team the Rams have played to this point, but the Chargers have been known to lose to bad teams as well. Considering last week, let’s call this a L.

Sun 10/24 Tampa Bay Buccaneers AWAY 1:00 pm

The Rams had trouble at Detroit, so I have no doubt they will have trouble at Tampa Bay. L

Sun 10/31 Carolina Panthers HOME 1:00 pm

The Rams get their next win at home against the Carolina Panthers, who are looking worse than the Rams. W

Sun 11/14 San Francisco 49ers AWAY 4:15 pm

The 49ers have all but guaranteed a division title after starting 0-5 and the combination of a potential inspired 49ers team away from home chalks this up to an L.

Sun 11/21 Atlanta Falcons HOME 4:05 pm

Falcons are another good, but inconsistent team. Since this is at home it is a close L.

Sun 11/28 Denver Broncos AWAY 4:15 pm

Denver Broncos offense at Mile High Stadium will have the Rams defense running for the Oxygen tanks mid-way through the first quarter. L

Sun 12/5 Arizona Cardinals AWAY 4:15 pm

Rams couldn’t overcome the Cardinals at one of their most vulnerable games at the Dome. The won’t beat them in Arizona either. L

Sun 12/12 New Orleans Saints AWAY 4:05 pm

The Champs have shown they are vulnerable to a power running game, which the Rams have. The Rams defense however, haven’t shown the ability to keep a big play offense in front of them. L

Sun 12/19 Kansas City Chiefs HOME 1:00 pm

Chiefs are an early season good story. They were the last unbeaten team in the NFL, but I think their early success will erode by the end of the season. W

Sun 12/26 San Francisco 49ers HOME 1:00 pm

The 49ers will have failed to get close enough to the division by this point and will have totally imploded. The Rams in a close one. W

Sun 1/2 Seattle Seahawks AWAY 4:15 pm

The Rams offense has no chance with the Qwest Field crowd powering the Seattle defensive line. L

That puts the Rams at 5-12 on the season, what do you think?
