Jermichael Finley will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery Tuesday and will be sidelined for at least three weeks, according to coach McCarthy.
It’s also likely that Rodgers (concussion) will join his favorite target on the sidelines this Sunday at home against Miami. “It’s possible he will miss a game,” McCarthy said. “He will definitely miss some practice time.”
And if it wasn’t already enough, tight end Donald Lee, who fumbled the ball on the play Finley got hurt, will likely be out a couple weeks with a shoulder injury, McCarthy said. Rookie Andrew Quarless, the team’s fifth round draft choice from Penn State, will be the main beneficiary at the tight end position. He caught four balls for 51 yards against Washington.
McCarthy also said that sack artist Clay Matthews’ hamstring injury doesn’t look to be severe.
