Tuck leads a fierce Giants pass rush
It’s the 2-2 Giants traveling to Houston to take on the 3-1 Texans. After a big win last week, the Giants need to continue to work their way back from early season struggles.

The Giants offense has been struggling lately. Yes, Ahmad Bradshaw was good last week, but they should be better. Too many stalled drives. Too many mistakes. If the Giants wanted to contend, they need to get their offense going. More deep passes. Throw it to Smith, Nicks, Manningham and Boss. Use your weapons wisely. They have too much talent to play like this.
What to say about the defense? Dominating performance. Amazing pressure. 10 sacks. Can they duplicate it? Probably not. But if they can do half of that they’ll be okay. The key to stopping the Texans is stopping the run. The Giants have had issues with that, and I would not be surprised to see the G-Men put eight in the box. They’ll need it against Arian Foster.
A topsy-turvy performance by Matt Dodge. Some good punts. Some awful ones. Like always, he needs to improve his consistency. Darius Reynaud has been a bust in NYC and needs to get his act together soon or he’ll be replaced
The Texans are a good football team. Great offense (Schaub, Foster, Andre Johnson) and a pretty good defense (Mario Williams, DeMeco Ryans). This could be the year they finally make the playoffs. They’re a strong running team and have got a great passing offense. Things look good for them.
Going into Houston will be tough. The Texans are a good team. But the Giants showed me something last week. I think they’ll be up for the challenge. FINAL SCORE: Giants 28, Texans 21
