Packers LB Barnett hasn’t made decision on season-ending surgery

Seems that despite what everyone is saying, Nick Barnett has not made a decision to have surgery on his wrist. Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Barnett would seek a second opinion on his wrist, which he’s been advised to having surgery on for “quality of life issues”, on Friday.

Barnett was hurt during the first half of Sunday’s 28-26 win over the Lions. Barnett returned to the game with a cast, totaling 10 tackles on the day.

A first-round pick (23rd overall) out of the Oregon State in 2003, Barnett has started all 107 games he’s played in the NFL, totaling 787 tackles, 15.5 sacks, and 9 interceptions. A torn ACL cost Barnett the final seven games during the 2008 season.
