After having an offseason mired by off-the-field issues, Leroy Hill’s season is over after playing just one game.
According to the Twitter account of ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the outside linebacker was placed on the Injured Reserve list by the Seattle Seahawks Friday. Hill is dealing with an Achilles/calf injury.
During the offseason, Hill was suspended one game for violating the National Football League’s substance abuse policy. He also had an alleged altercation with his girlfriend, which could have resulted in further suspension, but hadn’t thus far.
To fill the void in Seattle’s 53-man roster, Schefter’s Tweet indicated Seattle resigning defensive tackle Craig Terrill.
