It was a tough day for Titans QB Vince Young, throwing two picks and fumbling in the teams 19-11 loss to the Steelers before he was pulled for Kerry Collins Sunday.
Today, Young issued a formal apology to Titans for his awful play.
“To all my titans fans and VY fans sorry about the game yesterday but I will continue to get better,” Young said on his official Twitter account.
Young was pulled for Collins in the third quarter, and the team almost rallied. Jeff Fisher said though after the game that Young would be back under center when the Titans go on the road to play the Giants.
I’m glad to hear that they’re cutting him a break. I think he should start next week versus the Giants. Everybody has a bad day. Vince does need to step his game up though.
