Colts release OT Adam Terry and DT Marlon Favorite

Today is cut down day, and the Colts have made some moves, getting rid of OT Adam Terry and DT Marlon Favorite.

In addition to cutting rookie cornerback and kick returner Ray Fisher, the Indianapolis Colts have also released offensive tackle Adam Terry and defensive tackle Marlon Favorite. Terry is a 6-foot-8, 335-pound former second-round draft pick from Syracuse.

He wasn’t tendered as a restricted free agent by the Baltimore Ravens. He didn’t play in any games last season due to a knee injury that required surgery. Injuries, including ankle problems, hindered Terry’s development in Baltimore.

Terry started 18 games for the Ravens and appeared in 48 total. Favorite, a 6-1, 317-pound former LSU player, spent part of last season on the practice squads of St. Louis, Kansas City, Seattle and New Orleans and was also with the Buffalo Bills previously.

Favorite originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Carolina last year. Favorite appeared in 40 games, making 17 starts at LSU and was a member of the Tigers’ 2007 national championship team.
